National Nursing Home Week is a time for residents as well as staff to come together and celebrate each other and the unity within our Nursing Home.

Here at Chadwick Nursing and Rehabilitation Center we love and appreciate our residents as well as our staff.

We look forward to National Nursing Home Week every year, but also show our love and respect for Nursing Homes all across the country.

During this year's National Nursing Home Week, the Chadwick Nursing and Rehabilitation Center family celebrated by dressing up and participating in carious activities.

We started the week off with Mexican Day in which everyone dressed up in their best Mexican inspired attire.  Nachos and virgin margaritas were served while some members of the staff got together and performed a Mexican inspired dance for the residents.

On Luau Day everybody wore their best luau skirts and Hawaiian shirts, and to top the day off there was a Luau social where punch and all kinds of fresh fruit were served in honor of the occasion.

Western Day brought our the Cowboys and Cowgirls of Chadwick; everything from the hats to the boots made its way to the stage; and it wouldn't be a real hoedown without chili dogs, and soda.

We then took a trip to the 60's, 70's and 80's topping the day off with root beer floats.

The last day all residents and staff wore red shirts and blue jeans in honor of our Chadwick residents and staff. We had delicious barbecued steaks and baked potatoes for lunch and everyone really enjoyed it.

National Nursing Home Week was a  blast for not only the residents but the staff enjoyed it too.  Here at Chadwick Nursing and Rehabilitation Center we love coming together to celebrate each other in all that we do!
